An A3 poster titled 'BATS Première' which advertises three one-act plays (Table d'hote, Mariana, and Kassu) to be presented at the YWCA's Ewen Hall on Willis Street. The productions were shown from the 21st of April, making the premiere likely to be the first show presented by the newly-formed BATS Theatre. 

BATS (the Bane and Austin Touring Society) was founded in 1976 initially as a performing group without a permanent base though later evolved into its current form with a venue for hire.

This set of three plays were performed again one month later alongside the Kapiti Playhouse.
