Looking north along Lambton Quay with Featherston Street veering to the right. The Union Bank of Australia sits in the centre (later to become the ANZ Bank) with a telephone box and taxi stand out the front. The roads are busy with vehicles and pedestrians.

Note the incorrect spelling of "Lambtom" in inscription.
