Looking west up Manners Street from the intersection with Herbert Street (later to become part of Victoria Street). Electric trams are running in each direction and some cars are also using the street.
Recognisable shops (from left) include G.M. Fowlds Ltd, Cookham House, W. Campbell, and a signwriter. On the right is a "High-Class Ladies Tailor", a billiards room and a clothier. A sign for Farish Street can also be seen on the right, which also became part of Victoria Street.
