St. John's Presbyterian Young Men's Bible Class : Jubilee History, 1888 - 1938

The 50th anniversary jubilee history of the St. John's Presbyterian Young Men Bible Class. Though the name suggests that the organisation was mainly associated with religious instruction, they also participated in a wide range of social and sporting activities and operated more as a 'youth group'. The bible 'class' was closely associated with Sir George Troop, (architect and mayor of Wellington, 1927 - 1931) and the Wellington Boys' Institute. 

Though not a church or parish 'jubilee' history in the usual sense, this booklet includes valuable historical information often associated with such publications so has been included with his collection for consistency.
