Majority of the houses visible here are still standing, including 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 Toru Street, and 85, 87, 89, 93 and 97 Freyberg Street. In the background is a two-storey building at 219 Onepu Road, now home to The Botanist cafe. An advertisement for "Dr Morse's Indian Root Pills" is painted on the side of the Lyall Bay Hall.
