A wooden two-storey dwelling on Adelaide Road featuring ground floor shops.
On the left is G.W. Rogers and Co, an iron galvanizing firm dealing in "Ridging, Spouting and Downpipes" (as written on the window). On the right is Arthur Turner's cabinetmaking business.
A note on the reverse of the image notes that this was at 93-95 Adelaide Road, between Drummond Street and Hugh Street (now Hospital Road). A city-wide renumbering effort in 1908 led the addresses to be changed to 125 & 127.
