The Lewisham Hospital was later renamed Calvary Hospital and the chapel moved; in the mid-1970s it was noted that this room was now used as ward space.

This photograph originated from a Calvary Hospital photo album lent to Wellington City Libraries in 1977 for the purposes of copying.
