Man standing under a verandah at 95 Adelaide Road. The front door has "95c" painted on it. It's possible other flats at this premises were accessible via the side alley.
During a rental property survey undertaken in Newtown the following notes were made: "Two Storey wooden building, old, in fair order, containing shop, five rooms, bathroom, and shed in yard containing washtub and copper. Rental 22/6 weekly. Occupiers were Messers G. W. Rogers & Co. Now empty."
This photograph was taken prior to the renumbering of addresses along Adelaide Road; the building was later known as 133 Adelaide Road.
