    13th Apr 2026 9:43PMWellington City Libraries wish to thank Mike Mellor who identified the precise location of this photograph using maps showing historic railway routes. This point was the only location where the old route (left & right) and the new route (centre) crossed at ground level on the western side of the Remutaka hill range.
