Pedestrians and a horse-drawn cart outside shops on the Main Road in Karori. This area is now known as Marsden Village; two storey dwelling on the hill (centre) was at this stage part of a large estate held by the Cooper Family and would later be sold to Samuel Marsden Collegiate School. The school continues to use the homestead for their arts department and is known by the name "Innes House".
