Works being carried out on Raroa Crescent (an extension of Raroa Road) during 1930. Construction coincided with earthworks further up the road for the new Northland Tunnel.

In the background the Chaytor Street Tip is visible; a truck can be seen offloading rubbish from Birdwood Street.
