Jack Johnston, Bill Culpitt, and Bill van der Zee

Managers at the New Zealand Electric Lamp Manufacturers factory in Miramar. 

John (Jack) Johnston (left) was supervisor and later operations manager at the plant from 1942 until his retirement in 1972.

W. G. (Bill) Culpitt (centre) was general manager from 1940 until the early 1960s. He'd previously been in the same role at ELMA, the Australian iteration of the company in Newcastle, NSW.

Willem (Bill) van der Zee took over the role as general manager after migrating to New Zealand from the Netherlands. He retired in the mid-1970s.
