Patrick Anthony Lawlor (1893 - 1979) was a journalist and local historian who worked extensively in both Sydney and Wellington. He was an avid bibliophile and collector of cartoons but is today best known for a series of books detailing Wellington past and his early memories of growing up in the city at the start of the 20th Century.
