Description

The original building of the Wellington City Council constructed c. 1870 on the corner of Brandon Street (running to the left) and Featherston Street (running to the right). Later to become the site of the Leaders Building. From a souvenir fan-fold collection of postcard-sized engravings titled "Views of Wellington" produced by the Wellington-based merchants, Eberle & Schnotzinger in 1883.
