8 & 6 Sieverston Terrace

Sieverston Terrace was a short cul-de-sac of residential properties running west from what would today be 138 The Terrace. It was created as a right of way but became a formal street in the late 1890s with most of the street's houses constructed between 1892 and 1905. From the late 1960s the street was compulsorily acquired, all houses were demolished, land titles were amalgamated and no trace of the street remains. The location shown on the map is approximate. The apartment building in the background was formerly located on Clifton Terrace (also demolished for the construction of the motorway).
