Add29th Jan 2020 12:14PMThe Prince of Wales pub can be seen centre. The chimney was from the boiler of the WCC Milk Dept which was used to pasteurise milk. The two brick buildings to the right were the stables for the horses which were used to haul milk carts around the city until the late 1950's. I used to help harness & hitch them up when a young boy & ride around before school.
The end wall of the St Pats school building was used as a spare handball wall when I was there in 1962-63.
