Kelburn Presbyterian Church, 1909-1983 : 75th jubilee

Within ten years of this book being published, a falling congregation and difficulties in maintaining the buildings led to the decision to amalgamate the Kelburn Parish into its neighbouring suburbs. In 1994 the church was removed in sections and relocated to 43 Ngaio Road in Waikanae where it continues to operate as part of the Waikanae - Otaki Presbyterian Parish. The site formerly occupied by the church was used for a town-house development while the neighbouring church hall designed by Grey Young in 1922 was converted into a private residence.
