This book is a follow-up history to Richard "Dick' Barber's earlier work from 1956 which is also on Recollect. This volume contains useful historic information about how the suburb had changed over those 22 years.
In 2006, 100 years after the parish was established, the gradual reduction in the number of worshipers led to All Saints' merging with St Barnabas Church in Khandallah. After the building was deemed to be earthquake prone, a final Eucharist service was held at All Saints’ Ngaio on the 20 March 2011 after which it was deconsecrated. The church land and buildings were later sold into private ownership and currently (2020) await redevelopment. See the link below for further information about the building's history.
