As much an early history of the suburb, this jubilee history was compiled by the Karori Methodist Church for the parish's 100th anniversary. The church shown in photos became a church hall used for a variety of church and community purposes after it was replaced with a new church on the corner of Karori Road and Campbell Street. Both buildings were subsequently demolished and in 1994 the parish merged with the Methodist parish in Northland and St Ninians Presbyterian parish in Karori to form the Karori Northland Uniting Parish (later renamed St. Ninian’s Uniting Parish).
