Children's area, 'old' Central Library

About this Image

Description

‘Room 2’ in the basement of the ‘old’ Central library (later to become the City Art Gallery in 1993). Originally a stack room, a need for more space led to this area being opened for public use in 1981, and later held the audio/visual collections.
