Description

Toy appeal collection at the opening of the basement level of the 'old' Central library. Originally a stack room, a need for more space led to this area being opened for public use and later held the audio/visual collections.

The Toy Appeal was organised by Radio Windy, a local Wellington station which was later rebranded as 'The Breeze' in 1993.
