Commissioned by NMA Co of NZ Ltd (later to become Wrightson NMA then PGG Wrightson).

This mural ... shows the many activities in which (NMA) is involved. In the centre the sun is the driving force, the surrounding sectors reading clockwise from top right, symbolise high country farming, grasses and grains, fisheries and shipping, agriculture, produce and forestry.

Original index record contains little detail on the origins of this work. Further research has been conducted to increase availability of information.
