First printed in the lead-up to Christmas 1904, this new edition of Views of Old Wellington, 1840 - 1870 was published by the Blundell Brothers (owners of the Evening Post newspaper) and reproduces images drawn from earlier sources such as Pictorial Illustrations of New Zealand by Samuel Brees (1847) and issues of the Evening Post's own 'Christmas Annuals'.
Though undated, this second edition was likely published between 1905 and 1910.
