This is a small 'trading card' rather than a true postcard but it has been included in this collection for consistency. Trading cards from this era were traditionally included as 'free' gifts in packets of tea (later in breakfast cereal boxes) and were often swapped among children in an effort to fill all the spaces in promotional albums released as part of each new card series.
