Opera House: Programme of Farewell Complimentary Performance

Programme for the theatre production of 'The Guv'nor', held at the Wellington Opera House on the 24th February 1899. This was a local amateur performance put on as a send-off to performer Edmond T. Sayers before his departure to Sydney to act professionally.

Sayers was a well-known Wellingtonian who ran his own firm Edmond T. Sayers and Co. on Grey Street and acted as secretary of the New Zealand Cyclists' Touring Club.
