A booklet produced for a 1968 exhibition at the Dominion Museum (later to be incorporated with the National Gallery to create Te Papa) on colonial life and interiors. The book features one photo of the exhibition - a dining room scene behind a glass barrier. Many of the furnishings were original settler's items brought over from England in the nineteenth century.

This book was previously catalogued in our library under 'junior non-fiction', and as such was likely a resource used by school children.
