Souvenir booklet produced for the 70th Jubilee of the Petone Central School.
The School opened in 1882 in 'Johnson's Hall' on Sydney Street (Lower Hutt) and shortly after moved to its own premises on Jackson Street. At the time of this publication the 'Infant School' was located on a separate site on Britannia Street, though in 1957 the remainder of the Central School joined them there when the Jackson Street building was demolished.
