TitlePlan of Highland Park Estate, the property of the trustees Hon. W. B. Rhodes' estateDescription
A bill from 1912 advertising the sale of newly created 'lots' subdivided from the former estate of William Barnard Rhodes (1807 - 1878). Known as the Highland Park Estate, today this forms a substantial portion of the north-east part of Wadestown. Like other areas of the suburb, many of the streets in the subdivision were named after members of the extended Rhodes family. One of the main features used to attract potential purchasers was the tramline running up to the suburb that had opened the previous year and which provided a quick and easy means to commute into Wellington.
