A bill advertising the auction of lots subdivided from the Simla Estate in 1908. Despite the efforts of the land agent, the sale was not a success and most of the sections were passed in with prospective purchasers being put off by the steep topography of the area. Many of the sections were not developed for housing until the 1960s & 1970s.
