A bill advertising newly formed sections for sale subdivided from Section 3 of the 'Township of Khandallah' c. 1894. At the time, the suburb was within the Onslow Borough so property rates which were substantially lower than those in Wellington City (due to fewer services being provided) was marketed as a feature as was the easy access to Wellington via train. The original item was donated to the Onslow Historical Society by Peter Craig Gibbons (1925 - 2020) of Boxhill, Khandallah in 1974.
