A 'notebook' of historic facts and occurrences relating to the Farish Street area (today Victoria Street between Wakefield and Manners Street) in Te Aro during the early colonial period. The notebook was compiled over several years by the historian and researcher Hilda McDonnell who was the Local History Librarian for Wellington City Libraries from 1975 to 1998.
